Wednesday 5 March 2008 - update
Funda is home again, since a few months she left the Revalidatie Centrum. She is still in a wheel chair, but picking up daily business again with a weekly column in the Telegraaf, cabaret and tv-performances.

Wednesday 14 March 2007 - update
Funda moved to the Revalidatie Centrum Amsterdam at Overtoom. Now rehab will take a complete start. The visiting hours are much wider than at the hospital, so that is a good thing, of course rehab is shortened by a lot of visitors and a lot of gezelligheid! Visiting hours are from 2 pm until 9 pm. Please call or e-mail first, Funda could be in rehab training of course.

The RCA can easily be reached by tram 1, it stops in front of the center at J.P. Heijestraat stop on Overtoom. A little bit further up Overtoom, also numbers 3 and 12 make a stop.

Sunday 25 february 2007 - update
Last week Funda returned to the Netherlands. From the American Hospital in Istanbul she was flown to the Boven IJ Ziekenhuis in Amsterdam. After a few days in quarantaine she is now on the normal normale intensive care unit. The neurosurgeon is positive about Fundas rehab. In the accindent some dorsal vertebras were badly damaged, so rehab could take some time. Funda is waiting for a vacancy at the Revalidatie Centrum Amsterdam (Rehab Centre) at Overtoom, until then the will stay at the Boven IJ.

Monday 12 February 2007 - update
Last Friday Funda was injured in a serious traffic accident in Istanbul. The cab she was in, was hit and rolled over a few times. Funda was transported to the American Hospital in Ni şantaşı, Istanbul where she is now treated at the intensive care unit after a first operation. More operations will follow. Funda life is not in danger.

Saturday 10 Februry 2007
On Friday, 9 February 2007, Funda Müjde was injured in a traffic accident in Istanbul. Funda regrets, she must postpone all her engagements for the coming time until she has recovered from the accident. Affected organisations will be notified as quickly as possible. Funda will perform at a member meeting of Rabobank Amsterdam Area on Monday 27 November 2007. The meeting will be held on the 31th floor of the Mondriaan Tower in Amsterdam. On Saturday November 4th 2006 Amsterdam will celebrate Museum Night (n8) for the seventh year in a row. 40 museums and institutions will open their doors and organize special events from 7pm until 2am! The Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) at Dam Square will be transformed to an Ottoman Lounge by Club33! The nave will tremble on Istanbul vibes from back then and nowadays, on the catwalk Ottoman fashion will be shown and Funda will hit the stage as well! Sunday 11 June 2006 there will be a cultural festival Turkey Express in Utrecht! From 12.00 till 24.00 the access will be free of charge almost anywhere! Funda performs in the Kleine Zaal of the Vredenburg from 13.00 till 18.30. Read all about it at the play list.

Wednesday 21 December 2005 Funda was guest at the new year conference of Netwerk! Quote: The cabaret artist Funda Müjde made a column for Netwerk on the referendum. According to her was the 'no vote' against Europe and a 'yes vote' for the Netherlands. The talk show was broadcasted live on Nederland 1, on the website van Netwerk you can watch the broadcast again.

Funda thinks that Turkish men are more passionate. She gave an interview to the magazine Esta, edition Augustus 2005.

Funda Müjde (43, Turkish) is a columnist and cabaret artist. She lives together with her Dutch husband and two kids from a former relationship with a Turkish husband.
